His Majesty, Eze Chukwuemeka Eri, Ezeora 34th & Aka Ji Ovo Igbo, is a Igbo monarch.
He is the Eze Odinani Aguleri, Government recognized traditional ruler of Enugwu Aguleri and current occupant of Eri throne.
Its dynasty Ezeora is one of the oldest dynasty in Nigeria in which the kingdom has produced over thirty four kings of Aguleri, up to the 18th century, and has continued, in recent times, up to now, to produce the ruler of the ancient Iduu Eri Kingdom and has remained powerful been the sacred holder of the Ovo Eri and as well occupying the throne of Eri at Obu-Gad. It is located in the present Anambra State.
He has held his title since 21 August 1976.
Its dynasty is hereditary, and not a product of the warrant chief system that have swerved and corrupt the traditional Institution of Ndigbo.
On 23 September 2018, the US House of Representatives of the commonwealth of Kentucky honors His Majesty, Eze Chukwuemeka Eri with a Citation of Honor alongside the Mayor of Lexington Mr Jim Gray officially declared 23 September 2018 as His Majesty, Eze Chukwuemeka Eri day in honor of his first visit to Lexington in Kentucky, United States.
